New Training Program For Bellamy & Sons Construction Co. Employees

A training program has been started at Bellamy & Sons for all employees. The most experienced are teaching the less experienced members of the field staff. The training sessions are held for 2 hours each week and will include all phases of the construction process.

Team leaders prepare materials for each class that will best demonstrate the particular phase of building that is being taught for the session. The “teachers” change because of their particular expertise. The “students” are learning from their peers and are challenged to improve and learn the “Bellamy Way”.

During the teaching sessions there is hands on learning, techniques are discussed, reasons for doing tasks in the specific manner are examined, corrections are made for bad habits and challenges are given to perform new tasks.

We believe that by developing specific processes for construction that our staff can replicate we will always produce the best product and it will be completed in the manner we feel is the best way.

We also feel this training program will advance our personnel to the highest level by learning from the “Master Carpenters” who have learned from many years of experience. Our staff is excited about their participation and has made our staff members even more of a team.
